and duvale joint venture
Two
leading British manufacturers of sliding and folding partitions have announced
a joint venture to strengthen their position within the UK market for moveable
wall systems. A holding company has been formed by the four Directors of Duvale
plc and Divisions Operable Wall Systems Ltd to merge the production, marketing
and distribution of their product ranges.
Duvale
will concentrate on the group’s manufacturing facilities, based in West Sussex,
with Divisions operating a joint sales and marketing function from their offices
in Redhill, Surrey. The new enterprise will see the promotion of their Showroom
facilities at Harbour Exchange Tower in London Docklands and the launch of an
exciting portfolio of enhanced space solutions. These will be renamed SILENTA
- acoustic systems, COMPACTA - folding systems, OBSERVA - glazed systems and
CONSERTINA - sliding systems.
Steven Duffell, the new Group Sales & Marketing Director comments:-

Divisions and Duvale are well respected British suppliers of moveable wall
systems. This joint venture will give added strength and impetus to our development
and the combined resources will ensure leading edge design, manufacture and
installation services. We intend to become the principal supplier to Office
Interiors Specifiers, Education Establishments, Hotels and Conference Centres
and the Sports and Leisure Industry with what we believe to be the best systems
available in the UK"
