Divisions Operable Wall Systems, now in a joint venture with Duvale announce the group have won the Gold Award from AIS, The Association of Interior Specialists, for their installation at the Head Office of a major Financial Institution in Canary Wharf, London Docklands. The award will be presented at the AIS annual lunch to be held at The Savoy Hotel, London in May.

Duvale won this project on design, appearance, ease of operation and the excellent sound reduction performance achieved. The movable wall system installed was from the Group’s SILENTA range – a high specification, top hung, telescopic, acoustic wall on a twin point suspension, finished in hardwood cherry veneer.

The client called for maximum acoustic performance as separate meeting rooms were to be used for confidential discussions with clients. The system incorporates concealed profiles and retractable seals, which lock between track and floor. The project was fully installed over a single weekend keeping client disturbance to a minimum.
